Opposing Union Not Admitted

According to SPARTAK SEYRANYAN, “The ‘opposing’ principle may be an impulse for unification, but never a unifying factor. Society will not admit of an opposing union, likewise it has done ever since. People should never make their choice by going against somebody; they will go to the polling stations, struggle, go up the barricades and stage a revolution for the sake of but never against something or somebody. In this respect, I think, those who hope that the opposition leaders may consolidate and propose a united candidate on the threshold of the Presidential elections are mistaken.”
