In the estimation of AHARON ADIBEKYAN, Head of “Sociometer” independent sociological center, “When Serge Sargsyan undertook the party’s leadership following the untimely death of Andranik Markaryan and was appointed Prime Minister and later headed the Republican’s campaign, the party’s popularity increased, by reaching 80 per cent instead of the former 46. In the meantime, the number of those associating Serge Sargsyan with the Republican Party also increased.
This, according to the sociologist, evidences that the Republican has adopted the right tactics and having held a purposeful campaign on site, was able to establish the basis enabling the party to carry out its activities and programs more confidently in future.”
