PROSPEROUS ARMENIA HAS LONG PROVED TO BE AN INDEPENDENT POLITICAL FORCE
"The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is not aware of either the old or the new principles of settlement of the Karabakh conflict, and cannot express an opinion," Gagik Tsarukyan's Spokesman Khachk Galstyan told a press conference today. "The Foreign Minister has presented there principles, which are acceptable to us. His resignation is out of the question. These principles satisfy us at the moment," Khachik Galstyan said. The Prosperous Armenia Party stands for establishment of relations with Turkey, if there are no preconditions, the spokesman noted. Will the Party cooperate with Robert Kocharyan in case he returns to politics or will remain in the coalition? In response to the question, Khachik Galstyan stated that the Prosperous Armenia was an independent political force. "PAP has long proved to be an independent political force, and has no ties with ex-President Robert Kocharyan. It's up to Robert Kocharyan if he decides to return to active politics. The Prosperous Armenia has long assumed an independent political path under the leadership of Gagik Tsarukyan," he said.
