ALL-EMBRACING PROGRAM OF ACTIONS FOR SETTLEMENT OF ISSUES BETWEEN ARMENIA AND GEORGIA
Armenian Democratic Party made a statement yesterday.
The statement says that for centuries Armenian-Georgian relations have developed on the basis of friendship and mutual understanding. According to the Democratic Party of Armenia, it is necessary to take rational steps to ease the tension. The Democratic Party is sure that even the most complicated issue is soluble if the two interested parties - Armenia and Georgia try to approach the task at the level of states. That is, to create an intergovernmental structure of corresponding power that on the basis of joint investigation will form an all-embracing program of actions, and that implementation of it will contribute to settlement of social-economic, spiritual-cultural and public-political issues.
"It is the best way to once more affirm our peoples' desire to live in solidarity and friendship", the statement says.
