
UNITED STATES STAND UP FOR AZERBAIJANI TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY
"The United States resolutely stand up for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan", announced Wednesday US Vice President Dick Cheney during the meeting with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
"We act for the settlement of Karabakh conflict by way of negotiations that will be based on the territorial integrity of your country and other international-legal rules", he said. "Today the settlement of the conflict is of vital importance as the peace and stability of the region as well as Azerbaijani security depends on the solution of the problem", he added.
"The issue of the settlement of Karabakh conflict is very important to us", in his turn mentioned Ilham Aliyev. He added that OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair USA is playing an important role in finding ways to support the two parties, Armenpress reported.
