ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER'S VISIT TO WASHINGTON
Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian who is in Washington on a working visit met on July 16 with assistant to US Secretary of State Daniel Fried.
The press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry informs that during the meeting the sides discussed the most important topics in Armenian-US relations. They also referred to the issues on ensuring stability and security in the region.
Mr. Nalbandian and Mr. Fried exchanged thoughts over the reasons and consequences of post-electoral crisis developments in Armenia and the measures of the Armenian authorities in order to overcome the situation.
The officials also discussed the prospects of improvement of the relations between Armenia and Turkey.
On the same day the Armenian Foreign Minister met with the OSCE Minsk Group U.S. co-chairman Matthew Bryza. On the second half of the day Nalbandian conducted separate meetings with the heads of Armenian American organizations.
