For my graduation thesis I used the statistics provided by FreedomHouse and Transparency International to do a regression analysis on levels of Chinese foreign aid and African countires level of democracy. My initial hypothesis came out true. Then in this forum, I noticed people criticizing Freedomhouse (for giving Armenia a low democracy score) as being biased. As someone who did democracy statistics for over 40 African countries I can say that they are not bias. What upset me was people who haven't even implemented the statistics put forward by FH, are criticizing it because it doesn't go along with their ideas. I graduated from the Econ department this spring. I'm going for my 2nd Bach in Poli Sci.
