A MEETING WITH TERRY DAVIS
Ter-Petrosian's campaign office informed that the latter's head of Avan (Yerevan) campaign office together with AAM council member Hovhannes Igitian met with PACE Secretary General Terry Davis in Strasbourg.
According to it, at the meeting Hovhannes Igitian drew the PACE Chairman's attention to the continuing persecution of the opposition and mentioned that at present Levon Ter-Petrosian's co-thinkers are arrested because of their political views and also underlined that today the constitutional rights of the citizens to hold and participate in peaceful mass meetings, rallies and demonstrations are actually violated".
