MEETINGS IN KREMLIN
"It is symbolic that Armenian President-elect Serge Sargsian pays his first state visit to Moscow", announced Russian President-elect Dmitri Medvedev receiving Serge Sargsian in Kremlin.
Dmitri Medvedev mentioned that the visit would strengthen Armenian-Russian bilateral relations.
Serge Sargsian also met with Moscow Mayor Yuri Ludzkov. The latter expressed his gratification that develop in strategic-partnership spirit, and he highlighted the role of Moscow in strengthening of those relations.
In the second part of the day RA Prime Minister, President-elect Serge Sargsian met with RF President Vladimir Putin in Kremlin. Broad scope of issues of in political, military-economic and other spheres were discussed during the meeting. They touched upon also Karabakh conflict settlement. Vladimir Putin mentioned that it's necessary t to continue negotiations in the framework of OSCE Minsk Group.
