PACE CONCERNED OVER...

PACE monitoring committee of Paris on March 18 expressed its concern over the state in Armenia and more than 100 arrests since March 1 incidents. According to the committee, the arrest of three opposition MPs will not contribute to the stabilization of the situation. In order to settle the created state of crisis the committee advised all parties on the recognition of the decision of the Constitutional Court, lifting the state of emergency, releasing those opposition activists who didn't participate in disorders, creating an independent investigation body and starting an independent and transparent investigation.
It offers to start a dialogue in the election process, political system and issues of implementation of amendments to mass media activities.
