PUTIN INVITES SERGE SARGSIAN TO MOSCOW
Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Armenian newly elected President, Prime Minister Serge Sargsian and invited the latter to Moscow, "Novosti Armenia" website reported referring to the Kremlin sources.
It is informed that Putin congratulated Sargsian on the Armenian Constitutional Court confirmation of Serge Sargsian's election as RA President.
To recall, on March 8 the Constitutional Court of Armenia dismissed the action of Levon Ter-Petrosian and Tigran Karapetian against Central Electoral Commission. They demanded to annul February 19 elections.
