    Dear Armenian compatriots of Russia,
It is really incredible and provocative that you are treating equally the brutal attackers and the peaceful protesters who dared to express their free democratic will against the karabach corrupted oligarchs who did not shy to use truncheons, shields, electroshock devices, guns, armored vehicles, tanks to mention only few, to disperse and kill innocent Armenian
    demonstrators.
Dear Sirs, I support any appeal for a peaceful settlement of the crisis, however, such a settlement should be done based on the outcome of objective investigation of the election process (beating, kidnapping, ballot stuffing, intimidation etc.), the results (read the latest report of the OSCE) from an independent well respected institution.
Dear Sirs, Armenia is governed especially during the last eight plus years by a karabach clan which over the years imposed on our country and its proud people a fascistic, authoritarian rule where corruption has become a norm and business as usual. I strongly believe that if election are run in line with basic democratic international standards, this corrupted brutal regime will have no chance but to concede defeat. No matter what the regime does, the clock is ticking against them and sooner or later hopefully sooner, the struggle of Armenians will succeed and our compatriots will restore peacefully the well deserved DEMOCRACY, TRANSPARENCY, PROSPECTS FOR A BETTER LIVING, SOCIAL CARE, MEDICARE, HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS AND MOST OF ALL DIGNITY.
We, the Armenians of diaspora will stand steadfast by their side and will offer them our lawful support.

    Philip,
Your opinions are not in consensus with the rest of Diaspora's. Obviously you don't understand the existing geo-political challenges facing Armenia. Your article is full of half-truths about the current events, and sounds very much like what we've been hearing from the Democracy-Doves from all over the world. If anything, they don't serve a purpose other than being divisive and inciting.
Armenians are an ancient people, yet when it comes to nation building we're still very young. I believe Armenia is on the right track in securing a better future for it's people.
    Long live Հայաստան.

Alex,If your believe Armenia "is on the right track in securing a better future for its people" very simply I do not agree. You do not secure a better future for your people by oppressiion, intimidation, brutal beating and murdering innocent people. If that is what you stand for just stay put in your opinion. Most probably you have no idea what a brutal dictatorship is and can do? In Greece I can give many more examples world wide, had a seven year experience of such an authoritarian regime in 1967. The democracy of Greece after 40 years is still trying unfortunately with no success, to settle the tragic consequences of the dictators treason in Cyprus and not only. As to your geo-political theory I find it very simplistic.

    Oh common,
Why don't the Armeians of Russia go back and live in Armenia instead of giving advise.
They are used to Putin and happy with the Russian system, then so be it. They should not try to 'copy' the same system in Armenia. The Armenians in Armenia will decide of their own regime.

A agree with Philip...Geopolitical challenge is a fiction...and I personaly dont want to have a big brother like Russia...just cz we are not blood related... I would like to see Armenia to negotiate with Russia and with the west on the same level...and i belive that all normal citizens would like to live in a place when you have neigbors that are watching over you...we would be better off if we find peace and mutual cooperation with our neigbors...instead of considering geo-political issue...look at georgia just cz of geo-political game there is constant unrest over there...I belive we are better than them...
