TOM LANTOS PASSED AWAY
80-year-old Chairman of US Congress House Foreign Affairs Committee Tom Lantos passed away on Monday.
Democrat Lantos represented California in US House of Representatives.
Mr. Lantos, a Hungarian-born Jew was one of the members of anti-fascism. He was released from concentration camp with the help of Soviet armed forces.
He immigrated to the United States in 1947. He was first time elected in US Congress in 1980.
It's worth to mention that on October 10, 2007 during the discussions of Armenian Genocide Resolution 106 in US House Foreign Affairs Committee Tom Lantos voted for the Resolution 106.
