ARMENIAN CULTURE IN CHINA
The Press and Information Department of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia informs that a delegation from Armenia, led by Minister Hasmik Pogosian, left for Beijing in order to take part in a series of events dedicated to the days of Armenian culture in China. In Beijing the Armenian delegation was received by Minister of China Sun Ziacheng. During the meeting a number of agreements was made on Armenian-Chinese cooperation in the spheres of museums, libraries, national music instruments, cinema, theatre, et caetera. It was decided to hold days of Chinese culture in Armenia next year.
An exhibition of Armenian painter Karen Aghamian was opened yesterday in the central library of Beijning, and on December 25 shall take place a concert of Armenian musicians.
