A TRIBUTE OF RESPECT TO HRANT DINK
More than 400 supporters of the Armenian Conference gathered in "Beverly Hilton" hotel to pay a tribute of respect to Armenian editor-in-chief Hrant Dink, killed in Turkey.
Hrant Dink's widow Rachel Dink was also present at the event. She was given the conference prize "Philanthropy" awarded to Hrant Dink posthumously.
Rachel Dink delivered an emotive speech and mentioned that her husband struggled justly for Turkish-Armenian reconciliation.
She mentioned also that Hrank Dink was looking for ways to help both Armenians and Turks, to cure the wounds and to move forward, at the same time adopting the historic truth.
