EQUAL MILITARY ASSISTANCE FOR YEREVAN AND BAKU
The Foreign Distribution Committee of the US Senate called upon the White House to balance the military assistance for Armenia and Azerbaijan when working out the state budget of 2008.
"Regnum" news agency reports that the Committee suggests assigning $3,3 million for both the states, of which $3 million as foreign military financing and $300 thousand as international military training financing. To be reminded, previously the White houses had provided $3,3 million for Armenia and $5,3 million for Azerbaijan.
