ALIEV ALSO AGREED TO MEET KOCHARIAN IN ST PETERSBURG
Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev agreed to meet Armenian president Robert Kocharian in St Petersburg, in the circles of CIS state leaders' not-official meeting. While being in Baku the OSCE Minsk group co-chairmen announced that the meeting of the presidents would take place on June 9.
Thus, as it was announced before, the meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia has been coordinated. The expectations of the meeting are not little.
Co-chairs will visit the region before June 9 to coordinate some issues of Kocharian-Aliyev meeting.
At the same time USA Deputy State Secretary Daniel Frid announced, USA and Russia might jointly contribute to the peaceful process of the settlement of Karabakh conflict. Frid also emphasized that Moscow and Washington may import stableness and security in South Caucasus, and these two states cooperate successfully on this issue.
Daniel Frid attached importance to the issue that only Armenia and Azerbaijan totally bore the responsibility for the settlement of conflict.
