FOR THOSE WHO HATE ARMENIANS SAAKASHVILI IS ARMENIAN, AND FOR THOSE WHO HATE AZERIS HE IS AZERI
As an answer to the announcements of the representatives of national minorities in Georgia, President Saakashvili announced yesterday that he would protect the rights of the national minorities up to the end. "I would like to remind that I am a 100 percent ethnic Georgian, but for those who hate Armenians I am Armenian, and for those who hate Azeris I am Azeri", he said.
As Georgian media informs, according to the President of Georgia the national minorities always has had an important role in their country. Therefore, as an Azerbaijani, Armenian, Ossetian or Jew Saakashvili will protect the rights of the national minorities.
By the way, on May 31 the official opening of a new sport complex will take place in Ninotsminda , Javakhk. According to the governor of Javakhk Georgi Khachidze President Saakashvili will participate in it.
