The stadium of Munich will also host another 5 games including 1/8 and 1/2 finals on June 24 and July 5. The stadium opened on March 31 2005. She says that this is the most modern soccer stadium in the world.
Security is one of the vital issues here in Germany today, and the Munich police are ready to secure undisturbed World Cup. Mrs. Manhard assures that a few thousand policemen will guard the stadium.

For those football fans who will not be able to watch the games at the stadium the municipality has created special conditions. The soccer feast will be accompanied by various festivals and arrangements in 12 German cities. In Munich the Olympic Park built for the Olympic Games of 1972 will host all events.
