OHAN DURIAN 'MAY HAVE NO MORE CONCERTS IN ARMENIA'
"Ohan Dorian. The Composer" concert took place in the Chamber Music Hall after Komitas, on June 7. Maestro said that this concert might be the last he performs in Armenia. "Each artist bids his farewell to the stage one day," the world-known musician said.
We have nothing to say. Each artist is free to decide his fate and his further activities himself. If Maestro decided not to perform concerts in Armenia anymore, it is fully his decision. Since 1957 he has been pleasing the Armenian music lovers with his concerts. It is possible to enter the musical circles here, in Armenia but Maestro decided to continue his musical activities in Moscow at Stas Namin Center, as well as in other famous musical halls of Europe.
Ohan Durian represented the songs he composed on the lyrics of Isahakian, Shiraz, Grigor Vahan, Herman Hesse and Francois Vion.
