On January 24th, the NKR President Bako Sahakian accepted the members of NKR administartion of Writers’ Union, by the head of the Union’s leader Vardan Hakobian. During the meeting the interlocuters discussed a wide scope of questions refering to the activity of Writers’ Union, as well as cultural life of Artsakh. The President noted, that he considered very important an active role of writers in the work of improvement of our republic’s progress.According to the head of the country, the main problems of Writers’ Union were in the focus of NKR authorities’ attention. The President promised to improve working conditions of Writers’ Union in the shortest possible time, particularly, to give the Union temporary office, till construction of the new building, which would be full by all necessary technical means. An agreement was aqcuired: to organize such meetings two times a year, during which the directions of collaboration would be marked and the results would be summed up.
