CE LEGITIMATE ANTI-DEMOCRATIC ACTIONS
As a general conclusion from observations of Armenian and other countries’ elections, PACE deputy chairman Zsolt Nemet declared on behalf of European People’s Party (it has a weighty faction in PACE): “We propose to make radical amendments in the system of elections monitoring. Now the acting system is too dangerous. We are coming the monitoring country, stay there couple of days. And the consequences of such monitoring are as follows: the Council of Europe legitimate the anti-democratic process of elections. If we are not able to change the current system, let’s not conduct any observation of elections.”
