HUNGER STRIKE
- Leader of “Democratic Homeland” Party Petros Makeyan spread an announcement yesterday. It is noted in the announcement: “The criminal case filed against me and the process of investigation showed once more the true face of the regime. I and Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s other adherents are kept in the prison illegally. I have gone on a hunger strike since April 2 as a an action of protest and make our society and the international community pay attention on the following fact that the NSS, Police, Prosecutors’ Office, courts, infringing the human rights, commit a political order and political persecution.” NA former vice speaker Karapet Rubinyan informed the Public Prosecutor that he will go on a hunger strike on April 9 at 00:00.
