26 ARRESTED PEOPLE GO ON A HUNGER STRIKE

According to the information received from Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s office, more than two dozens of arrested people go on a one day warning hunger strike. If they remain arrested they will go on a hunger strike. “The circle of mass arrests was launched on March 3. The purpose of the authorities was the following: to readdress to us the blood which they have poured. As a result, according to the official statistics, 8 people were killed, hundred of people were injured. The “responsible” TV Companies didn’t manage to show any record where the oppositionists are armed. The faces of those persons who attacked on the cars and shops are not recorded. The clan wants to make us be responsible for the crime, which they continue to do. Not having any prove they make amusing declarations and broadcsated by the Public Television. We have refused of cooperating with the invetsigation, being sure that 300 and 225 articles of the RA Criminal Code are referred to us by Robert Kocharyan's and Serge Sargsyan's dictation, and what the regime wants to realize.»,- Is said in the announcement which Myasnik Malkhasyan, Khachik Simonyan, Gagik Hovhanisyan, Karapet Rubinyan, Alexander Arzoumanyan, Hovik Haroutyunyan, Husik Baghdasaryan, Samvel Abovyan, Arthur Shahnazaryan, Suren Surenyants, Isahak Malkhasyan, Ashot Zakaryan, Smbat Ayvazyan, Shota Saghatelyan, Alexan (Henrik) Vardanyan, Ararat Zourabyan, Gurgen Eghiazaryan, Masis Ayvazyan, Petros Makeyan, Vahagn Haroyan have signed and who considered themselves as political prisoners.
According to another information received from Levon Ter-Petrosyan's office that 6 political prisoners, Vladimir Arakelyan, Marzpetuni Ayvazyan, Sayad Hovhanisyan, Armen Grigoryan, Shmavon Galstyan, Yura Simonyan, have already gone on a hunger strike demanding to recognise invalid the results of the elections, stop political persecutions in Armenia, launch an international and independent investigation.
We found out from former NA vice chairman Karaept Rubinyan's fmily that the arreste people are not allowed to see their realyives and call them though the authorities promised the opposite.
According to «A1+» the action of protest of dwelleres of Vanatur district in Hrazdan town is still continued. The doctors of the Medical center of Hrazdan visited Arshaluys Bozinyan yesterday by his own request. He has a low blood pressure. Arshaluiys Bozinyan declared that he will continue his hunger strike till April 10 and then after recovering a little he will continue the hunger strike until Sasun Mikayelyan is set free.
