STATE MECHANISMS OF THE ELECTORAL BRIBE

“Our candidate will win in the first round”, - head of Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s headquarters Alexander Arzumanyan said yesterday. The guarantee of the victory is the all- people movement is round the First President. The main theme of the press conference was the summary of this round of the electoral campaign. According to that summary, Mr. Arzumanyan is sure that the elections are already rigged since there several illegalities. But they are not going to turn to the Constitutional Court on that occasion. The infringements are as follows: a committee was formed by Serge Sargsyan’s order on December 4, which is included in the government but it serves Serge Sargsyan’s pre-electoral purposes. The committee receives different kind of statements from the citizens and mostly solve them. Several examples of the statement were presented.
Mr. Arzumanyan thinks that the MIAK Party members are ordered to give such statements. The majority of those applications are written by the same hand-writing, by the same signature. There were even amusing cases: two applications have been received where the author proposes Serge Sargsyan to withdraw his candidacy in favor of the First President. Next frauds are the electoral lists, which have certain responsible persons for certain voters. Mr. Arzumanyan considers this way of actions as state mechanisms of the electoral brie. Head of Kentron Municipality Gagik Beglaryan has ordered the staff of nursery schools to register in Kentron Community, then to present those figures to his “spiritual father”. Mr. Arzumanyan also thinks that “bandocracy” is the modest name of the current authorities. He declares that they will not allow any fraud and that they have given this and other facts of frauds to the international organizations.
“Armenia is a small country, and nothing will be kept in secret. That’s why I am sure that no fraud will become true. There are always honest people», - Mr. Arzmanyan said in answer to the question where were those statemenst from?
Mr. Arzumanyan is also convinced that they will win Serge Sargsyan's bandocracy after winning the Soviet Dictatorship. In answer to the question why Ter-Petrosyan refuses the invitations of TV , Mr. Arzumanyan said: «All TV Companies has a certain order, to destort the facts. It seems you are invited to a interrogation. We are not ready to go to the TV Company and give testimony». Mr. Arzumanyan's attitudes towards Ter-Ptersoyan's percents and «Gallup» results are as follows: «If a polling were held in Iraq 10 days before invading it, Sadam Huseyn's rating would be 100+1 %. The atmosphere of fear prevails: 50% of people are afraid and do not answer the poll results, the rest are afraid of giving anyone's name. That's why I didn't meet the «Gallup» representatives this time. Look ow many people particiapte in Levon Ter-Petrosyan's rally. The number of those people is not less than 30%.»
