RA presidential candidate Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s headquarters accuses the authorities of uncontrolled pre-electoral situation.
Two criminal cases have been filed against RA First President and presidential candidate Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s team members during last two days. One of those criminal cases was filed yesterday, in investigation department of Yerevan City, according to the 258 and 316 articles of the RA “Criminal Code”. According to the RA Police report: “The Yerevan City Police Department has received reports from road inspectors that about 150-200 cars of Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s adherents didn’t follow “stop” command in Baghramyan-Demirchyan intersection, causing a real danger as the inspectors, as well as the rest of traffic participants”.
“Aravot” daily has already informed that the RA road inspectorate has launched “car-hunting” trying to send the participant cars to a penalty area. That action was continued yesterday within the framework of that filed case. We were informed from the Police station that four cars were sent to the penalty area yesterday.
According to our sources the cars belong to NA parliamentarian, Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s supporter Khachatur Sukiasyan’s brother Saribek Sukiasyan, ANM administration chairman Ararat Zourabyan, “Republic” Party Leader Aram Sargsyan, one of the members of Erebuni headquarters, Khachatur Sukiasyan’s security service.
Another criminal case filed according to 118 article of the RA “Criminal Code” is in process in Talin Police station. A participant of the incident which took place in Talin during the rally, “Republic” Party member Zhora Sapeyan was called to the police station yesterday. We should remind that the latter is accused of beating Sargis Karapetyan. He was being interrogated as a witness. We should remind that Zh. Sapeyan’s and his family members’ cases for political pursuits are in European Court.
Yesterday Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s pre-electoral headquarters made the following announcement on the occasion of different illegalities and violations used by the authorities: “The representatives “bandocracy” worrying about RA First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s increasing success, turn to provocative ad illegal actions.” The incident in Talin was considered as a provocation organized by the authorities, since the latter invite the members of Talin Headquarters to the Police station preventing the work of pre-electoral headquarters.” The headquarters has also noted in its announcement that it devotes itself to struggling against the bandocracy and is decisive to finish it.
