EASTERN ARMENIAN LANGUAGE COURSES FOR SYRIAN-ARMENIANS

The RA Ministry of Diaspora, in collaboration with the Department of Education at Yerevan Municipality has organized Armenian language (Eastern Armenian) courses for Syrian-Armenian schoolchildren and youth.
The lessons for the first group of Syrian-Armenians in Armenia (10 children) started on July 30. The lessons are held at Stepan Shahumyan School N 1 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 to 13:00.
The lessons are conducted by researcher-teacher of Armenian language and literature, experienced educator, senior professor of the Department of Armenian Studies at Yerevan State Linguistic Univeristy after Brusov, Susanna Abazyan.
We also inform that the lessons for the second group will start in August and will be open to the participants of the "Ari Tun" program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora as well.
