BHK URGES PEOPLE NOT TO POLITICIZE VAHE AVETYAN'S DEATH
- The funeral procession for military doctor Vahe Avetyan, who was beaten to death at the Harsnakar Restaurant owned by Republican MP Ruben Hayrapetyan, is due to start from Kanaker-Zeitun market in a couple of minutes.
One can see ordinary citizens, civil right activists, MPs, and publicists grouped near the market. They have come together to pay tribute to Vahe Avetyan.
Talking to A1+ Naira Zohrabyan, an MP from the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), expressed confidence that those guilty of Avetyan's death would be brought to justice and punished strictly.
"Our nation should stand up and rebel to avoid repetition of similar tragedies but we should not politicize the issue," she said.
