SERVICEMAN KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT IN ARMENIA
- One soldier was killed and two injured in a car accident reported in Armenia's Vayots Dzor marz (province) this morning.
At about 8.30 a.m., a VAZ vehicle went off the road and turned over on Yerevan-Meghri highway, leaving three servicemen injured. They were immediately rushed to hospitals in Vayk and Yeghegnadzor. One of the passengers, Edgar Hovhannissyan, died on the way to hospital, Mary Sargsyan, a senior representative at the Investigation Service of the RA Defense Ministry, told A1+.
The driver of the car is in normal condition. New details about the accident will be available after the investigation.
