INSPECTION CONTINUES
- The Kotayk territorial department of the Nature Protection Inspectorate still hasn't ended inspection on the deforestation in Tsakhkadzor.
"We are inspecting and will provide additional information about the results," Deputy Head of the Nature Protection Inspectorate Igor Sargsyan told "Ecolur". On May 25, an alert was received that forests were being damaged in Tsakhkadzor for the opening of a 1 km long ski road. It turned out that the 250 ha territory didn't belong to the forest fund, but is a community area.
