STUDENTS DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE CELEBRATING

The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is celebrating Vardanants Day near Vardan Mamikonyan's statue in Yerevan.
"A1+"'s correspondent reports that students of universities of Yerevan have been dismissed from classes and have been taken to the square near the statue of Vardan Mamikonyan to ensure higher turnout.
The participants of the Vardanants Day event were mainly students of Yerevan State University, the Pedagogical University and several other educational institutions for the humanities.
Almost all the surveyed weren't able to answer why they were standing under the snow at the square near Vardan Mamikonyan's square, and the most common answer was "They brought us here and we came".
Among the participants were RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Mayor Taron Margaryan and clergymen.
