TARON MARGARYAN SWEARS IN AS YEREVAN'S NEW MAYOR
- The Yerevan Municipality today hosted the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Mayor Taron Margaryan.

President at the inauguration were senior officials and Serzh Sargsyan.
Taron Margaryan, who served as vice-mayor, replaced Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan who resigned in late October to take up another job. On November 15, the City Council unanimously elected Taron Margaryan as Yerevan's 54th mayor.
Taron Margaryan is the son of Armenia's former Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan, who died in 2007.
