NO VACATION
- "People holding the most important posts don't have the right to leave Armenia for a summer vacation," announced today Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan addressing government officials before the beginning of the government session. "Many high-ranking officials are appealing to go on a one-month summer vacation. What surprises me is that everyone asks for a one-month vacation, as if there is nothing wrong with it and that we have solved the economic crisis and the government doesn't have huge tasks to tackle. This is an unacceptable approach. High-ranking officials must go on a short-term vacation and in Armenia. Please do not present one-month appeals and inform your deputies that they will not be going on a one-month vacation this year." Sargsyan mentioned that the first months will be the hardest and economic indices will go up by the end of the year. According to him, everyone must assist the State Revenue Committee. "I suggest that we make an agreement that all ministers present their suggestions to the Prime Minister within the next three days regarding their initiatives to support the sttae revenue committee in collecting taxes. We have problems in agriculture where there are large re-cultivating companies, as well as problems in trasport, communication and construction," said the Prime Minister.
