RUSSIA, CHINA AND ARMENIA

International bookmaker offices believe that the Armenia team has real chances of winning in the World Chess Olympics, which will kick off in Dresden today. According to the bookmakers, the favorite remains Russia with a 3.00 coefficient. Russia has the highest rating in the competition. After the Russians come the Chinese, who won in the previous Olympiad and have a 5.00 coefficient.
Champion of the Olympiad Armenia is in the top three with a 7.00 coefficient. Ukraine comes in at 4th place with a 7.50 coefficient and Azerbaijan is next with a coefficient of 8. These five countries are believed to have real chances of winning, while the rest have higher coefficients. There are bets on the Bulgarian team with a 16.00 coefficient, although Bulgaria has a higher rating than Armenia. There are also bets on the highest amount of points that will be scored during the first round. Levon Aronyan will step up first and his win has been valued with a 21.00 coefficient. The favorite is Iturizaga of Venezuela with an 8.00 coefficient.
