I think it's the game of LTP gang. They "kidnap" themselves to create sensation. They crave for people's attention.
I won't be surprised if they beat or kill their own people just to put the blame on the government. They're so venomous.
By now, we know what they are capable of... It's truly sad!

    Ashot,
please visit Armenia and see for yourself, you are 100% mistaken. I was there in march and was shocked at what I saw, the people are truly split and hate each other. Your assumption can be taken into consideration but through multiple personal experiences such clashes are part of everyday life in Armenia. If you dont believe me ill give you some inside examples about samvel aleksanyan. Ashot, people are truly split there. LTP has about 300,000 supporters in yerevan and serge has about the same when not accounting for the military. Though LTP scortched Armenia during his years, people there (primitive in nature) still support him...and what are their grounds for support, they claim that he is the lesser of two evils. Armenia has inherited such a time where the best we can get from a president is a 'lesser evil'. Whether SS or LTP, they are all corrupt, remember they all come from the same HHsH camp, though SS is HHK, they all share basic notions of governance

And we owe that to LTP! He's the biggest evil our nation has ever witnessed and he'll go in history as such. He divides the nation and then makes them scream "Unity'. His mission is to divide the nation and that's exactly what he is doing. You'll find naives everywhere and the biggest ones are Aram Sargsyan and Stepan Demirchyan.

    Ashot,
As a political analyist I wouldnt go as far as to say LTP divided the nation. The people of Armenia were already divided following the 2003 election. People there either side with the current administration or against it. Your dissatisfaction with LTP is personal. Yes they are all corrupt but to call one evil, on the grounds of splitting the people is not humanist. Most people in the diaspora hate LTP because of his anti-dashnak stance. Overall LTP was a failure, but he did try to unify the churches by bringing Karegin I from cilicia to Echmiadin, but the cilicia church didn't accept the unification plea.

    Rafael/Ashot
The church issue is very painfull, having cultured the church for more than ninty years,ARF isn't ready yet to capitulate it's authority.
Our homeland isn't in a position to realise the dream of Armenia with it's natural borders,at this point in time.Let's wait and see how the meeting with Turkey will progress.GENOCIDE/SEVRE/LAUSAN/KARS the issue and those treaties more or less should be respected by Turkey...
LTP tried to use the Karekin 1rst homecoming to divide the dashnags objecting their return to our homeland.but he failed. So indeed LTP is a negative force, our nation should have a united stance,to get rid of him. His simple minded (naive)followers could be a tool for future trouble.
