WILL A1+ BE ON THE AIR BY JANUARY?

Tomorrow PACE will pass a resolution on Armenian issues where the Armenian Government is demanded to grant a broadcasting license to A1+ without further delay.
“The Assembly takes note of the recent judgment of the European Court of Human Rights according to which the Armenian authorities violated the European Convention of Human Rights by refusing a broadcasting license to A1+. Now the authorities are required to grant A1+ a broadcasting license without further delay in line with the long-standing requirements of the Assembly,” the document states.
By the way, the project states that the implementation results of the requirements is to be discussed in the next PACE session due in January 2009.
