“SITUATION IS GETTING WORSE”

Minutes ago the Pan National Movement Center conveyed the following message:
Ex-member of the Karabakh Committee, former MP and Director of the Television and Radio State Committee, Plenipotentiary-Executive of the central pre-election staff for Levon Ter-Petrossian in Gegharkunik Region Samvel Gevorgian was arrested on June 10. On the same day another proxy of Levon Ter-Petrossian, Deputy Head of the pre-election staff in Malatia-Sebastia District Bagrat Andreassian was called to the Prosecutor’s Office and false charge was brought against him.
One more time the Regime proves that the activities directed to regulation and settlement of the current situation are all fake and misleading. These detentions are a new challenge issued to the EC Congress which is going to discuss the results of the completion of Resolution 1609 terms. However, the demand to release the political prisoners is not met. Moreover, we witness new cases of imprisonment and persecution.
The Pan National Movement Center declares that such illegal and impudent attitude of the authorities only deepens the tension in the country and complicates the perspectives for averting crisis.
