ARMENIAN ISSUE TO BE DISCUSSED IN BRUSSELS
RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian are leaving for Brussels today. On May 28 at the NATO headquarters the two Ministers will participate in the sitting of the North-Atlantic Council in the 26+1 format, where the process of accomplishment of the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan will be discussed. Within the framework of the visit the Armenian co-chairs are to meet Deputy Secretary General of NATO Claudio Bisoniero and Special Representative of the NATO Secretary General to the South Caucasus and Central Asia Robert Simons.
On May 29 Edward Nalbandian will pay a three-day official visit to Moscow, where the Minister will meet his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs Alexei Ostrovsky and Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha.
Minister Nalbandian is also to meet representatives of the Armenian community organizations in Russia. Within the framework of the visit he will also deliver a speech before the International Relations Institute of Moscow.
On June 1 Minister Nalbandian will return to Yerevan.
