OPPOSITION HAS PRIORITY
Member of the Republican Party MP Edward Sharmazanov is not against a dialogue between authorities and opposition. “But I am sorry to declare that opposition leaders give ultimatum instead of conducting negotiations. If a dialogue comprises prerequisites, it stops being a dialogue, it is an ultimatum”, declares Sharmazanov. “Our society can only benefit from negotiations. Repulsive attitude of the authorities is intolerable.”
“These are not simply words. Opposition has a priority now. Opposition leaders made an attempt of overthrowing the government and now people publicly announce that the elections were not legitimate. I would love to see they are having a dialogue. Even if the two sides do not reach an agreement the opposition members can’t but see the reforms.”
Concerning the rise in costs Edward Sharmazanov said: “You do not consider us part of our nation. We have the same worries as you do. The international costs have risen and it should be the task of our authorities to reduce their influence on RA citizens.”
By the way Sharmazanov stated that the loss of Andranik Margarian has had its say on the present situation. “The more we have such political figures, the better.”
