    Sasoun,
Are you suggesting that Armenians should not voice their expression. Certainly you live in the US and know about the first amendment. Agree with them or not, they are entitled to freely express their concerns. Now the basis of their argument is another topic and can only be relevant if they indeed left the country because of the RK-SS team, and they view Serge's presidency as a continuation of such corruptive matter. These people are not humiliating our country especially to the US/Europe who are established socio-democratic regimes. Your opinion has no basis of a legitimate argument. Though I respect your opinion I questions its profesionalism

Are you in your mind? What ‘democracy ‘ about you are talking?
USA population gave up. At least they are so intelligent they would never go to support Bush-Cheney, or Kissinger…Hollywood Armenians admire that ‘yogurt seller’ Nune Avetisian, and they are guided by political begets like her who work FOr CASH, NOT for principle. LTP is REGIME! IDIOT!

Wow! what an intellectual you are calling me a idiot. First I'm saying the Armenians that are in USA protesting have the democratic right to do that...read the constitution, its not a issue of their support for levon, its a right given to them by the US. Your quote isnt making sense, and frankly there's no point in arguing with you as you present as certain bias based on your argument.

Unfortunately all armenians and all ex soviet citizens other than a very small minority THESE VERY SMALL MINORITY WERE POOR AND VERY NAIV HARD WORKING PEOPLE. THE SMARTS THRIVED ON CORRUPTION. I feel like Im in argument with fifth graders here. To suggest that people who've been oppressed in their homeland, and migrated to another country, have no right whatsoever to express their opinion regarding issues in their homeland is absurd.
Rida, What you're suggesting is that accept the outcome and don't question it. If this is implemented how to you expect a country like Armenia to advance its notions of freedom. If there are no people (or organizations) to criticize a regime, then that regime will develop levels of oppression. Rida Im not a politician, I'm a individual who knows the difference between a normative statement and a positive one.

I will point out of Mihran that LTP initially wanted to give 15% of Azeri land back to them, and his cabinet strongly disagreed. The current plan that supposedly RK verbally agreed (through a timeline) as noted by the Azeri foreign minister, calls for Armenia to give the 15% land back. So with this issue, what LTP proposed is what now SS will sign.

I totally agree with you. It is a shame how these people calling themselves MTAVORKANS don't even think clearly and the concequences that their protests may have on their and my country of Armenia. They want USA to do the same think that they have done to IRAQ. Stupid people like Rudik with his non-sense show gather people (notice mostly older adults who live in senior homes and have no other worries, that are brought to the protest sites by buses)and demand that their God Levon Ter-Petrosyan to become a President. They forgot that he has proven to be a terrible president for 6 years and that the current what they called political regium was established by him Levon Ter-Petrosyan. These MTAVORKANS don't have respect for anybody who tries to explain other ideas. They just want their Levon who is known to be a non-Christian to come back to his presidential chair. No one in that croud gives credit to Rober Khocharyan for even a small thing he had done for his country. They call him and Serge Sargsyan Turks without thinking that one day a similar crowd may call them (the protesters) Americans or Mexicans or whatever they want to call people living in US. Shame on that Anahit Martirosyan who first needs to go to school to learn that news is not just telling names and maybe broadcast a news that she won't contradict two weeks later. People watching her news should keep recorders to play back and maybe write down the names and understand that day after day she is repeating herself and changing the same news to fit the situation. Shame on all Armenians who fight against their race and religion. Levon Ter-Petrosyan should be aliminated for good of our country.

IF IT'S ONLY 15% LAND BACK GOOD FOR US.I DO'NT THINK SO... LTB'S RECONCILIATION PLANS WITH TURKEY... DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT? MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT ARMENIA SHOULD NOT GET INVOLVED AS A STATE AT ALL. LTP has basically 2 initiatives:
    1. give back 15% of azeri land
    2. split the karabagh land (later proposed by Vazgen and Karen Demirchyan)
The Azeri side has on numerous occations stated that Armenia has in fact verbally accepted steps to give the 'buffer zone' back.

First please make use of proper sentences. And "im not living in USA?" I've been in this country for 16 years, was involved in 2 congessional compaigns, and have discussed local matters with local politicians. I think I qualify as a citizen that is an active participant in America's political arena. When one thinks of the notions behind democracy he/she cant think of it in absolute terms. Democracy is better defined as a measure of index, which usually is significant at the international level (google 'freedomhouse' as they measure international democracy)

I believe there is nothing wrong with arguing of ideas. I argue because most people in this forum define political terms in their opinion. They fail to make positive statements and rather engage in normative ones. In Armenia it is vital that people are allowed to protest, given the fact that their protest is peaceful and sanctioned. In Armenia, this is not the case, as recent protests are not sanctioned and people just crowd wherever they please. Though they have the right to assemble, that right should be within certain areas, so that they do not disrupt order.

‘Absolute terms’ when talking about week countries where insane population commits a military attack on authorities, and double standards when talking about ‘democracy’ in USA? Is it a ‘democracy’ to go to other countries and destroy them to ZERO GROUND . If you are USA citizen, you are A BAD ONE! We need people with mind not with stuffed head.

Please don't mix constitutional rights with current foreign policy initiatives. When I speak of democracy I relate to America's internal structure. US's foreign policy is another matter. My government doesn't seem to think Im a bad citizen.lol.
