LARISA ALAVERDIAN HAS DEMANDS

“It is time the authorities bore responsibility”, declared “Zharangutiun” (Heritage) Party MP Larisa Alaverdian at the “Pastark” club today. She thinks it is the authorities’ duty to create a stable atmosphere in the country. “When it is time to criticize the opposition I am ready to do it myself. But criticism will hardly help us make a step forward towards mutual discussions at present.”
Larisa Alaverdian believes the National Security neglected its duties in the post-election period and the result was the 8 victims we had. “Who is to bear responsibility today? We needn’t find those guilty; we needn’t find the shooters either. It is the circumstances that should be revealed. Here is my demand to the authorities.”
“The situation is hanging. There is no action. People are diverged, and it is regarded as hostility by both sides. The result is the lack of efficiency towards negotiations”, says Larisa Alaverdian adding that she is of a totally opposite opinion. “To begin with, I can see a chance of multilateral negotiations. Secondly, the solution is not in a casual or qualified Prime Minister or in various groupings but in the establishment of institutions.”
In reply to the question what kind of government can restore harmony in the society, Larisa Alaverdian said, “Only people with decent decent moral and high professional skills can form such a government. People have no confidence in the government because of some ill-famed individuals who “move” from one government to another. These people should be substituted with more reliable ones – a phenomenon we do not have in our country.”
Ms. Alaverdian is also worried about the fact that announcements made by outer institutions are considered more carefully than numerous home notices. “You can look into National Assembly reports. The AGO monitoring group has made no discovery. Just their statements draw more attention. I see a problem here.”
