ARTHUR BAGDASARYAN RAN AWAY FROM THE JOURNALISTS

Orinats Yerkir Party Leader Artur Bagdasarian, who is going the take the position of the Secretary of Security Council next to the RA President from the 9th of April, today at the meeting on the theme "Armenia-Europe-2008" said that the cruel clashes don't go along with the European values.
Of course Mr. Bagdasarian didn't mention, that he had accepted the new position and relations between him and authorities on February 29, on the eve of the bloody events of March 1.
We must deepen political and social talks not only with our neighbours, but also in our country. We must know that the massacre has no place in democracy. There is a debate in the democracy, but we all must realize that the hate, strict positions will lead to a non-democratic solution.
Artur Bagdasarian who will be appointed Secretary of the Security Council didn't say who the authors of the massacres were. He diplomatically changed the subject of talk and started talking about partnership between Armenia and Europe and said some aphorisms.
With regard to the RA- EU 5-year project the OYP leader said it can be carried out within 5 years. After his words he quickly went out of the meeting with his guardians without listening to the words of the representatives of the European structures present at the meeting.
A group of journalists were waiting for Mr. Bagdasarian in the coridor. He passed by without answering their questions, especially "do you feel guilty in the events of the March 1? Did you know on the 29th of February that the authorities are going to use armor on people?", etc.
The journalists were surprised at his "escape" and said, "He ran as if we'll never meet him again."
