LEVON TER-PETROSSIAN APPEALS TO CC
On February 24 the Central Electoral Commission named Serzh Sarkissian Armenia’s next president. Presidential candidate Levon Ter-Petrossian is going to challenge the election outcome at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia.
“If we want to achieve our aim, to establish a rule of law in the country, to lead a proud and dignified life, we must secure ten thousands people at Liberty Square tonight. We won’t surrender unless we win a victory,” the First President said.
As usual we shall convene a rally at Liberty Square at 3.00 tomorrow. As usual I expect a large-scale march. The spirits of our people will surely gain a victory.”
Meanwhile, people were chanting, “Struggle to the end!”
