Before the Head of the “Republican” party Aram Sargsyan made a speech in the Liberty Square, the participants of the gathering began crying out “Vazgen, “Vazgen”. Aram Sargsyan considered that the presidential candidate Serge Sargsyan committed a sacrilege, since he had been showed Aram Sargsyan’s brother, who “has saved Robert Kocharyan and Serge Sragsyan for many times”, in his pre-election campaign videos for the last five days.
“Vazgen Sargsyan had saved him for many times. Serge Sargsyan’s ingratitude has no limits. What had you done for Vazgen Sargsyan to prevent 27 October incident? What did you do after 27 October when Vazgen Sargsyan’s mother went on sit-in strike when her youngest son was detained? You did not go to his mother when she was on a sit-in strike and ask her to stop it, but Vazgen Sargsyan had done so many good things for, hadn’t he? We have hosted you for so many times, haven’t we?”, said Aram Sargsyan. The latter considered that Serge Sargsyan could go to his mother and say: “Mother, Vazgen is my brother. If your son has committed a crime he should bear the responsibility, but if he is innocent, I will do my best to release him. You, please, go home; I will not let anyone lodge a case against your son. Instead, he speaks of kindness today”.
Then he added: “I ensure you, If the same happens with Serge Sargsyan tomorrow and his mother goes on a sit-in strike in front of the President’s residence, I do not know his mother, but I will go and say: “Mother do not sit, go home””.
