The presentation of the book “Nagorno Karabakh in Light of International Right and World Police” by academician Yuri Barseghov took place in Yerevan on February 16. The presentation turned into Serzh Sarkissian’s benefit and was fully devoted to the Prime Minister.
“To tell the truth, I didn't expect such an outcome. You all praised me saying good things. I am deeply pleased with your high appraisal.”
The publication was sponsored by the Chairman of the Union of Russian Armenians and President of the World Armenian Congress Ara Abrahamian.
Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian says the book is worth reading. It has already revived interest of the Foreign Ministry.
Some invitees made speeches sharing opinion about the scientific work. NKR FM Georgy Petrossian turned to Armenia's recent developments and voiced concern over the country's political scene. “We are really anxious about the forthcoming presidential election and think that the struggle will not exceed the civilized bounds.” “The Union of Armenians of Russia endorses presidential candidate, Prime Minister Serzh Sarkissian,” stated Ara Abrahamian. “We have been collaborating with Serzh Sarkissian for 10 years. We want him to be elected Armenia's President,” he said.
Ara Abrahamian states Serzh Sarkissian has considerable potential and his approaches towards political and economic issues match with the UAR stance. He urged Armenians living in the Russian Federation to vote for Serzh Sarkissian in case they happen to visit Armenian during the election.
