WHERE IS ARAM KARAPETYAN?
On 29 November during the meeting with journalists the Leader of “New Times” party Aram Karapetyan announced that if he did not run for presidency he would actively fight against the authorities. He promised that he would continue torturing the authorities and would publish the facts against the authorities during the airtime of the opposition leaders. Aram Karapetyan also declared that “New Times” party would go on visiting regions and calling people not to vote for Serge Sargsyan.
Today is the 11-th day of the per-election camping, but Aram Karapeyan had not visited regions and met people. He has not published the facts, he talk about. For three days “A1+” tried to call the party’s office but no one answered, while the mobile of the party’s press speaker was disconnected. The person who presented himself as the party member did not want to answer to our questions. He only informed that Aram Karapetyan was not in Armenia and would return soon. According to the party member, the press speaker was unreachable, since the latter was in the regions. “Maybe his mobile is out of charge”, he said.
