WILL THE MUNICIPALITY KEEP ITS PROMISE?

The Municipality of Abovian Town is going to apply to the RA Government with regard to hostels subject to a demolition. According to the City Hall, they can take no measures unless the Government makes a final decision.
“We shall finally get rid of this demolished building. We voice hope that we shall move before the final collapse of the building,” the residents of the disputable hostels told A1+.
“We wanted to redecorate our room, but the Municipality employees looked in and after checking our passports promised to see to the matter,” resident Varduhi said.
Rumors are about that in case the City Hall fails to solve the matter, NA deputy Gagik Tsarukian will raise the issue at the National Assembly.
Reminder: the hostels haven't been renovated since 1980. The lavatories and bathrooms are in poor hygiene and sanitary conditions.
