THE SIDE LAUNCHING WAR WILL NOTHING
- “Today Azeris cannot initiate military actions and rely on success. Both the Azeris and the Armenians are well aware of it”, announced Serge Sargsyan, Minister of Defense during the meeting with the relatives of servicemen in Gyumri.
In his words, the sides launching the war, will suffer losses as great engineering work was implemented on the borderline.
Regardless of their militaristic announcements, the Azeris will not instigate war under the pressure of the international community. The side breeching the ceasefire regime will gain nothing as the negotiations of the Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement are currently continuing.
During his meeting with the Gyumri residents, Mr. Sargsyan noticed that they are unaware of their privileges.
For instance, many of them didn’t know that they can get free medical treatment and certain social privileges.
Serge Sargsyan didn’t refute the fact that there are cases of murder in the army but according to the statistics the number of murders is decreasing year by year. Over 300 soldiers were killed in the RA Army in 1995 whereas the number of murders was lessened to 27 over the past 11 months.
