THE CREW OF “KILIKIA” AWARDED WITH MEDALS

Today Robert Kocharyan awarded the crew of “Kilikia” ship with RA medals.
The President congratulated them on the successful completion of three-year trip. The crewmen handed the three-colour RA flag to Robert Kocharyan. The guests recalled episodes from their trip saying that they were delighted by the warm and solemn reception of the Diaspora Armenians.
Robert Kocharyan referred to the issue of the ship’s final refuge.
By the President’s decree, the members of the crew were awarded with medals for their efforts to popularize Armenian interests overseas, to resume the Armenian ship-building traditions and for the bravery in the round-Europe trip completion.
The following people were awarded with the medals of 1st degree “for the service to the homeland.”
