THE ROADS ARE BEING RECONSTUCTED

According to the data of the Transport and Road - Building Department of Regional Council of Javakhq 3 milliard 250 million AMD will be marked out for the road - construction in 2006. It outnumbers the sum of the previous year given for road construction. By the way, 2 milliard 800 million AMD will be given from the State budget, and 450 million AMD will be assigned from the road - construction program. Most of the money will be invested in the restoration of roads of 40 km, and 346 million AMD will be given for the operation of the roads.
530 million AMD will be given for winter maintenance. 5.2 km of Dilijan – Dzoravanq road, 30 km of Martuni - Vardenis road and 4.8 km of Tsovagjugh – Shorja –Vardenis road are to be reconstructed. The road restoration of 10 km from Gavar - Gegharkunik will be financed with the 450 million AMD investment of the road - construction program. By April 5 the winners of the contest of the repairing works will be declared, and the reconstructing works will start from May.
